It's been an exciting couple of weeks! Learning a little more about website optimizing. Also became a CNGnow advocate which is kind of funny because my vehicle does not run on natural gas, but I am fueled mentally by the thought of using alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas (cng). Advocacy is an interesting concept! Recently won a bid because I had an advocate who sold my service to the customer! I'm wondering how I can use such a skill to become an advocate for other causes...

I'm especially enthusiastic about what has been happen at Herbert W Armstrong Auditorium with the Song of Songs and the Jerusalem Celebration. Now we are waiting in anticipation the Chieftains!!! It's interesting that artifacts in that auditorium are used as advocates to back up scriptures from thousands of years ago! Exhibiting the names of Jeremiah's captors! Who ever thought that the two individuals who hated Jeremiah would actually leave remains who would later become Jeremiah's advocates!

After Jeremiah was released from the dungeon where he was held captive, he then was used by God to plant the royal lineage in Ireland...

Now those who go the see the most popular Irish band in the world (The Chieftains) will also get to see those amazing artifacts who tell us about an amazing history!!!

It's been a while since I've built one of these, but I believe that when the opportunity comes to build one of these massive pergolas, it's like building an amplifier used to "sing" the story of my wife who died from breast cancer. She's the one who thought of the catchy name "perfectpergola.com". Once the water feature and landscaping is completed by Pitzer's Lawn Management, this little area will be a place that my wife would have loved to see! Sometimes I would get overwhelmed when I would do construction but these massive pergolas were going to be my personal "iPhone item" like the Story of Steve Jobs wanting to "focus" on just that one product to make it "perfect"! Our little family business had a vision of perfecting the skills of building massive pergolas. We would do other things too, but developing perfection in the construction of pergolas would be our specialty item Just as the iPhone was with Steve Jobs.

I wish I could say that every one of my projects could go as smooth as this one did! My previous project however was very complex! It just seemed like everything was going wrong. And to make matters worse my back started going out while I was laying tile. I sympathize for all you other single parents who feel like you're carrying the entire world on your shoulders! Thankfully I was able to contact a friend who's a tile setter. He was able to come in and help me finish that particular project while I went on to build this pergola!!! Each timber was carefully carved out to meet the standard of the builder. I tried be careful when listening to what the builder directing me to do. Sometimes my thinking needs to be reshaped like these massive beams so they can tie in perfect with the frame as I don't want to be too "set" in my own ways. Otherwise there's the risk of the entire product needing to be torn out and replaced!

This pergola project has really raised the bar in my thinking!

Communication has also been on my mind a lot lately. And I've been rather intrigued by communication towers while all this activity has been going on I've started using 4G network partly because I found out that one of the developers of the 4G towers actually lives in Edmond! I believed that character development is perhaps our own personal communication tower! The character of this massive pergola speaks for itself through the natural beauty of these seven massive beams. The ribcage who guards the heart (organ) is like a perfect pergola whose rafters are tied into the spine. The spine is like a massive beam who holds the entire skeleton structure together AND IS a communication tower for the organs through the central nervous system (CNS).

Our friend Vicky asked her daughter to paint this picture to visualize the armor of God described in Ephesians 6:13-19. It is the armor of God used to fight a spiritual battle. She sent me this nice card which is a copy of her daughters painting. I was very impressed and wanted to share it here. This is a picture taken with my phone, the visual quality would have been better if my scanner cooperated.

"Stranded in New Zealand with a belly full of sand"

Jeremiah first introduces this heart rendering story about this poor penguin who gets lost in New Zealand. Jeremiah then requests at the end of his post that someone would please write a country song titled , "Stranded in New Zealand with a belly full of sand." I feel that I delivered exactly what he wanted.

Then came a follow up story showing how the penguin is actually doing better! So without hesitation I delivered the extension to my song. The follow up story was not my only motive in writing the extension tho. Another motive was the fact that someone challenged me in writing their own version, as though my version was not good enough. That is why I made the poll as shown to the right side of my blog. So YOU the audience can decide for your self WHO'S version of this song is better.

BUT WAIT!!! Apparently this other individual named Luke Cuenco is in the process of recording his version of the song. So there just may need to be another poll. Meanwhile please go to the original post and read my song (and it's extension) in the comments. Also read Julies version and her extension. Then come back and vote for who's version of the song is better.

I think I need to make a Mac Vs Wild video of this song hopefully with the assistance of the talented Jeremiah S. Jacues who also wrote the follow up to this amazing penguin story right here: atimetocastawaystones.wordpress.com He's extremely musically gifted and on one occasion he accompanied my daughter with guitar when she sang a solo on stage in front of a large audience. She sang the Scorpions song, "Wind of Change." I have doubts that she could have pulled it off on such a short notice with out his assistance!!

This new song will fit right in as my videos are country style as is plainly expressed below!!!

Here's a close up shot of one of my surviving African birds. Started with 20 last summer and am now down to two. These birds are like chickens on steroids. I think they're chickens designed to survive the rugged terrains of Africa. This one likes to sleep in my window flower box.

Shannon Park

Sunday my son and I went to Shannon Park and installed this sign. This is the park where my children play during recess at their private school. The park was named after my wife Shannon who died from a battle against breast cancer. But did she really loose that battle? She died on a Holy day that we keep called the Feast of Trumpets. She actually told a few of us shortly after being diagnosed that she did not want to die (naturally as who does) but if she did die that she wanted it to be on the Feast of Trumpets as it pictures the resurrection spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (King James Version) It is so amazing and miraculous that she died on that very day! Another amazing theme that my family had been talking about around this time was the miracle of butterfly's. How they start off as a lowly caterpillar but through the stages of metamorphosis they turn into a beautiful butterfly. Just as we are puny humans with such an amazing potential!!! My wife is in her cocoon stage waiting to be raised up as a beautiful Spirit Being to meet Christ at that final Trumpet Blast!!! Did she loose the battle against breast cancer? The Feast of Trumpets is a Holly day that also pictures WAR. As the armies of the world will actually join forces to fight Christ at His return, it will be the WAR that ends ALL WARS! Christ is returning to usher in His Kingdom and He will be victorious!!! How is this for a breast cancer awareness message?

Vision Of Hope

My daughter was named a name that means Vision of Hope. I believe that my children are a part of the GREATEST vision of hope in the entire world! It is my job to help them hold on to that vision! My daughters Irish dance class may get to perform on stage for the famous Chieftains this coming fall. As a construction project manager I'm beginning to see that one of my greatest projects is developing my children s talents. The world is becoming more and more complex and dark everyday, it needs this vision of hope more than ever. My job in developing my children s talents is a direct way that I can help get that Vision Of Hope out to theis dying world!

My wife also loved the Chieftains. Below is a video that I made to show some of my outdoor projects. I used a song from one of our family favorite Chieftains CD's that we have enjoyed for years. Vision of Hope

My daughter was named an Irish name that means Vision of Hope. I was inspired by this name as I believe that my family as well as the entire world needs a Vision Of Hope.

My wife was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer that took her life in about nine months. She died and I was left with my two little children. This coming Sept 19th will be the two year anniversary of her death. There have been some amazing miracles that I want to share because I believe that they revolve around a tremendous Vision of Hope!!! When she was diagnosed she told a few of us that she really hoped to be healed but if she died she wanted it to be on the Feast of Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets is a Holy day that we keep that envisions a resurrection that will occur at the return of Jesus Christ. My wife died on that very day!!! Did she loose the battle against Breast Cancer? Not at all! She will be raised up at the sound of that final Trumpet! And she will be healed! 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (King James Version)

Since her death It's been somewhat of a challenge just being able to focus to where I can do a good job at everything. I lost my job last summer because I just was not able to physically keep up with work and taking care of my two children. Yet I have managed so far to get by, thanks to the moral support and prayers from friends and family. Yet I'm somewhat disgruntled by the fact that I'm only just able to get by. Trying to be careful not to complain because I know that my situation could be far worse. We don't have to look very far in this world to see how bad things can get! At first people offered to help but I tried to work things out myself, I don't know why, maybe because of pride. It has been a mental roller coaster and I beat myself up a lot. I know my wife was a gift from God. And my job was also a gift and one that my wife specifically prayed for! I lost them both with in the same year! Thankfully I have my children and they are a part of what keeps me plugging away.

My daughter is my little Vision of Hope. She is also an Irish dancer and a singer. It was one of my tenebrous moments while I was trying to figure out rocket science when I over heard my daughter singing out really loud in the shower, it was the Taylor Swift song, "What you've been looking for has been here the whole time." My daughter has a lot of talent. Maybe I should put more focus on helping her grow in those talents! She sang another solo song one night for entertainment night, it was the Scorpions song, "Wind of Change." I liked the song and asked her to sing it last summer when she was ten, she only had one day to practice it and she did very well! This world is sick and needs to be healed, it needs a wind of change. Christ will return soon and usher in world peace that will heal the entire world! What can I do to personally help give the world "that" Vision of Hope? My daughters dance class is getting ready to go to a tournament on the 29th. Here again I beat myself up and ask myself is there something that I can do to help her get the most out of her lessons? Should I swallow my pride and ask for help? Maybe I'll try it and see what happens. I'll put a donate tab on the upper right hand corner of my blog for anybody who'd like to give to this cause. Plus I think I'm going to redo my Etsy account, to simplify things for now. I'm going try to promote the little blue "twitter" birds. As I anticipate the macvswild gig to really take off I thought of a new one which ties right in as it's just as adventurous!!! When I see a cool bike I'm going to take a picture of myself on it! I know, it's ingenues, I mean inguinness, oh what ever. Anyway, it has to be a cool bike and have lots of character! And that is this bike! A little rusty and says: Legacy/Women INSPIRED.

Conner Brown

I gave my speech about appreciation for bagpipes, the subject assigned to me. Then it concluded with Conner playing his Great Highland Bagpipes in the room behind me, which caught everyone by surprise (WOOPS). I wasn't sure how it would work out but it was worth a shot (or two)! I left my little bottle of scotch with Conner and told him he could wet his whistle before he blasted on his pipes, then after club Conner was nowhere to be found nor was my little bottle of scotch.

So I wrote this poem: "Oh Conner, Oh Conner Oh where could you be? You played your bagpipes and then you did flee. With my bottle of Scotch!"

That's okay, I decided it was a good exchange for him helping me with my speech, and it proves he's Scottish.
